After being flirted with then unceremoniously mugged on public transit， Tara Chen goes to her new home to meet her absolutely stunning firefighter roommate， Trevor。 The attraction is immediate， but unfortunately， Trevor has a revolving door of women and can't seem to settle down。 Feeling desperate， Tara tries a new tack: go on dates with her exes to find out what went wrong and potentially find the one who held the most "soulmate potential"。 She asks Trevor along for the ride as her chaperone， b After being flirted with then unceremoniously mugged on public transit， Tara Chen goes to her new home to meet her absolutely stunning firefighter roommate， Trevor。 The attraction is immediate， but unfortunately， Trevor has a revolving door of women and can't seem to settle down。 Feeling desperate， Tara tries a new tack: go on dates with her exes to find out what went wrong and potentially find the one who held the most "soulmate potential"。 She asks Trevor along for the ride as her chaperone， but little does she realize this experiment will lead the both of them to personal revelations。Okay so I can honestly say I'm a fan of Amy Lea。 I really liked Set on You and really liked this one too。 I will say a disclaimer that although Tara was displaying signs of The Pathetic Girl™， which I was extremely weary of。 It took her all too long to realize that lying to conform to what a random ex wants is definitely not the way to a happy relationship on BOTH ends， and that worried me。 In general though， I liked Tara and really dug the chemistry between her and Trevor。 Trevor is supposed to come off like a playboy but honestly he's a teddy bear the entire time。 He's very soft to Tara， even when he's calling her on her bs。 I liked them as a couple so much that I actually teared up at the end， which I wasn't expecting with this one！ Gotta also give Amy Lea props for giving an actually good 3rd act conflict with a reasonable time-frame for a resolution。 It again， made me believe these 2 love each other and was a good representation of the tensions of a new relationship and the jealousy/confusion that comes with figuring out how you communicate with each other。 This is especially true considering how much time these 2 spent together。 Anyway， I loved this。 I did dock it a point for Tara's desperateness at the beginning， but in general I recommend！ 。。。more

Finished this beauty up this morning。 I loved it！ I enjoyed the twist on a typical forced proximity trope with Tara’s ex list and her journey to find a great second chance romance。 The fact that Trevor is a sexy fireman also doesn’t hurt the storyline 😜。 Overall， if you like books that make you happy， then grab this one… it’s great！Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 （a few steamy parts that could be skipped if it is not your thing）
